Chen Leiming, Executive President and Secretary-General of CAMT delivered the opening address. He noted that we are currently in an era rife with transformations and challenges, yet one that also nurtures hope and opportunities. As a critical cornerstone of the national economy, the steel industry is undergoing unprecedented and far-reaching changes. This event is intended to collectively explore new pathways for enterprise development in the new context, conduct in-depth analysis of the transformation approaches adopted by successful enterprises, draw insights from advanced practices, and enable more enterprises to derive benefits therefrom, thereby achieving "metamorphosis and rebirth" and "nurturing new vitality from renewal".

He emphasized that the CAMT will collaborate with its extensive membership to converge industry wisdom, co-create a promising future, and drive the high-quality development of the steel industry.

Zheng Yanmin, Managing director of Zhejiang International Commodity Exchange Center, delivered a fervent opening address. She noted that amid an era of profound transformation, the steel industry has entered a critical phase of transitional development. Forging new opportunities amid uncertainties requires the support and empowerment of new platforms and hubs—this is a prerequisite for stakeholders like us to advance amid changes.

Following strategic integration, Zhejiang International Commodity Exchange Center has evolved from an entity deeply rooted in the oil and gas sector into a comprehensive bulk commodity trading platform with enhanced functional capacity and a more diverse product portfolio. Moving forward, the center will fully leverage its professional capabilities, including futures-spot integration and price discovery, to inject new impetus into the steel industry. We aim to collaborate with all stakeholders to seize historical opportunities: not only acting as market participants, but also serving as co-shapers of new business formats and models.

During the keynote presentation session, Chen Leiming, Li Zhengze (Director of the Membership Department at the Zhejiang International Commodity Exchange Center), Lyu Zhuoyi (Product Manager of the International Business Department at China Construction Bank Corporation, Zhoushan Branch), and Liu Wenhao (General Manager of K-Nuox (Changsha) Network Technology Co., Ltd.) delivered thematic sharing from the dimensions of policy foresight, bulk trading model innovation, financial service support, and digital empowerment for enhancing enterprise management capabilities.
