Chen Leiming and his delegation visited Gangbao Co., Ltd.

On May 26th, 2025, Chen Leiming, Executive President and Secretary-General of CAMT, and Li Jing, Assistant to the Secretary-General of CAMT and Secretary-General of the Internet and Digital Intelligence Special Committee, visited and conducted research at Jiangsu Jinmao Gangbao E-commerce Co., Ltd. (Gangbao Co., Ltd.), vice-chairman of Internet and Digital Intelligence Special Committee. They had in-depth exchanges with Gu Ping, Vice-Chairman of the Special Committee and Chairman of Gangbao Co., Ltd., on the development status of the steel industry, the application of digital and AI technologies, and the work of the Special Committee.

Gu Ping warmly welcomed the visit of Chen Leiming and his delegation. He briefly introduced the innovative business development and digital transformation experience of Gangbao Co., Ltd., analyzed how steel trading enterprises can respond to market crises and adapt to changes, and proposed solutions to the application scenarios of artificial intelligence in the steel industry and the problems it brings.

Chen Leiming expressed gratitude to Gangbao Co., Ltd. for its long-term support to the Association's work and fully affirmed the company's innovative development in recent years. He stated that Jinling Gangbao Network, as a leading vertical internet platform in the professional field of medium and thick plates in China, has been at the forefront of the industry in digital transformation, intelligent manufacturing, and model innovation for many years, playing a strong demonstrative role. At present, the steel industry has entered a period of profound adjustment and reconstruction. As a national industry organization, CAMT will continue to deeply investigate the actual business conditions and challenges faced by enterprises, explore solutions, and play a greater role, particularly in the promotion and application of new technologies, optimization and upgrading of supply chains, exchange and cooperation between enterprises, and leading industry development.
