"CAMT Sheet Metal Processing Branch" Preparatory Meeting held

 On August 31, the preparatory meeting for CAMT Sheet Metal Processing Branch was successfully held in  Ouyeel. CAMT Sheet Metal Processing Branch was initiated by Ouye Yunshang Co., Ltd.（ Ouyeel） and joined Shanghai Xingyu Steel Processing Co., Ltd., Shanghai Zhanzhi Industrial Group Co., Ltd., Furand Parts Processing Co., Ltd., Minmetals Logistics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Suzhou Longxing Supply Chain Management Company and other 51 units across the country.

Chen Leiming, vice president and secretary general of CAMT, Jin Wenhai,president of  Ouyeel, and the chairman and general manager of each sponsoring unit attended the meeting.

In his speech, Chen Leiming introduced the positioning and service functions of the CAMT, and elaborated on the purpose and significance of the establishment of the " CAMT Sheet Metal Processing Branch ". On behalf of the General Assembly, he expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the sponsors such as Ouyeel for their active fulfillment of their social responsibilities.

Jin Wenhai gave a welcome speech and analyzed the problems existing in the field of sheet metal processing, and explained the future role of the “CAMT Sheet Metal Processing Branch”.

The meeting discussed and adopted the feasibility analysis report, the charter, the fee management method and other documents for the establishment of the club, and determined the Director, Executive Director, Vice chairman, Chairman candidates. 

The heads of the initiating units also fully exchanged views on the function construction and service orientation of CAMT Sheet Metal Processing Branch and put forward some problems to be solved by CAMT in combination with the present situation and problems of the sheet metal processing industry.

Participants visited the Ouyeel Exhibition Hall and listened to the introduction of the Ouyeel service function.

It is understood that there are more than 3,000 sheet metal processing enterprises in the country and a processing capacity of 300 million tons. The sheet metal processing center is an indispensable part of the steel supply chain service. CAMT Sheet Metal Processing Branch will build a professional service platform, Exchange platform and resource aggregation platform, set the industry standards, help members to improve the level of site management, improve the level of service of the processing centers, better guide, standardize, and serve the development of the industry, and promote the transformation and upgrading of industrial services.

According to the preparatory work plan, CAMT Sheet Metal Processing Branch will hold the inauguration ceremony at the “13th China Steel Distribution Promotion Conference” held in Jinan, Shandong Province in October this year. At that time, Chinas first national sheet metal processing industry organization will be officially born.
