Delong to launch pipe project in Xuzhou

Jiangsu Delong Nickel Industry Co. has decided to build a pipe project in Xuzhou, under its subsidiary Xuzhou Delong, Kallanish notes.

The company plans to invest CNY 1 billion ($149 million) into the project. It will have a 200,000 tonnes/year pipe capacity after construction in two stages. It plans to use the land remaining next to its recently-commissioned high alloy steel bar lines.

Delong takes this project as an opportunity to further extend its product industry chain, and strive to build a stainless steel downstream industrial cluster. Xuzhou Delong's bar project commissioned several months ago can produce 2,400 tonnes/day of stainless medium bar.
